Prince William Resource Center

Prince William Resource Center (PWRC) has been in existence since 2011 providing services in Virginia and North Carolina for individuals in need of mental health and substance abuse services. PWRC is a non-profit organization that  is always seeking additional grant fundings to enhance its services delivery. Staff have over 60 years of experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse who are compassionate and motivated qualified professionals to provide the best quality of services for those in need.

To improve the quality of individuals’ lives by educating and promoting health and wellness (mental health, physical health and substance use disorder) practices regardless of their personal situation.

Assessment

Comprehensive mental health and substance abuse assessment to link individuals to the appropriate mental health and substance use disorder program.

Case Management

Designed to assist individuals to gain access to necessary care: medical, behavioral, social, and other appropriate to their needs.

Referral and Linkage

Designed to connect individuals with medical, behavioral, social and other programs, services, and support to address their specific needs.

Includes activities and contacts that are necessary to ensure that the individual needs are addressed.

May – Mental Health Month

To increase awareness of the importance of mental wellness in individuals lives and to celebrate recovery from mental illness.

October – Mental Health Awareness Month

Focus on mental health education and depression awareness

October 10 – World Mental Health Day

Focus on raising awareness and mobilized efforts to support mental health.

The program is open Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and Friday 9:30 am to 12:00 pm

Closed on Saturday and Sunday and  all approved official State holidays
